| Qualifications: | Associates degree from two-year college in a related technical field or certificate or diploma from trade school in related field and five years experience in supervision of maintenance and facilities or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred Bachelors degree in related field.
Preferred Certifications:
- Types 1 and 2 refrigerants (Environmental card)
- Class 1 Pollution Control Operator
- Class D Waterworks Operator
- LEA
- Removal of asbestos (at least 3 sq. ft.)
Skills in supervision, organization, time management, decision making, oral & written communication, recruitment and a preventative maintenance program.
Ability and desire to provide quality supervision of facilities and maintenance, and a commitment to maintain high moral character and confidentiality.
Knowledge of air conditioning, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, building structures and basic office computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook).
Ability to formulate a working budget for maintenance, which includes but not limited to utilities for all buildings, waste management, and phone services.
A valid Mississippi driver's license (CDL a plus)
